UPDATE: New York City's Proposed Sprinkler NFPA 150 Ordinance

New York City Counsel is considering a controversial city wide ordinance requiring extensive renovations of NYC's buildings. The National Fire Prevention Association did a study and found sprinkler systems may be harmful to animals. The NFPA did not abandon the needed attention to the concern...they recognize that it needs more data and study before it signs on to a blanket recommendation. read more
